A lovely self contained three roomed apartment, in a charmingly restored Peregordine Farmhouse dating back to the 16th century. The house is surrounded by 10 acres of gardens and paddocks, enjoying a completely tranquil setting and yet only 4kms from the Bastide town of Castilliones. Here there are shops, bars, restaurants, banks and sports facilities including good tennis courts. There is an excellent 27 hole Golf Course close by. On the borders of the Dordogne and Lot et Garonne departments it is an ideal spot to discover the rich history and charming tranquillity of this superb region.

Accommodation is centred around a large, airy bed sitting room, which is charmingly furnished. The chaise longue and comfortable chairs are in front of the french windows facing south which lead out onto the pretty private garden. There is a large double bed at the other end of the room and plenty of storage space. Down a step, to a lower level, leading off the sitting room, there is a small kitchen fully equipped with gas cooker, fridge and washing machine. The bathroom has a shower/bath, wash basin and WC. The private entrance has a small hallway. Fresh bed linen and bathroom towels are provided.

Garden. There is a small private garden, within the grounds, with garden furniture, including barbeque and sunloungers. A path leads down through the garden to the swimming pool which is surrounded by shrubs giving complete privacy. They also keep ducks and chickens and grow vegetables.Therefore in times of plenty fresh produce is also available on your doorstep.

“Brousseau” provides an ideal opportunity, for a couple, to relax and enjoy this beautiful region of France in reasonably priced self contained accommodation with a swimming pool. Many couples return year after year.
