Every year travel to the region seems to get easier.
All the Channel ports have Autoroute or dual carriageway access to the region.
There are many route planning services available on line, maps and guide books are available at www.stanfords.co.uk .

Air travel is becoming very easy with more routes open for 2009 see the list below. Bergerac Airport is no more than one hour from any of the houses, Bordeaux 2hours and Toulouse 2½.
Book your car hire in advance from the usual companies we have found www.autoreservation.com very useful. Do remember that Bergerac is a very small airport, if you have hired a car for collection there, it is best to send someone ahead to reduce dalays, on arrival.
