Travel Notes
Every year travel to the region seems to get easier.
All the Channel ports have Autoroute or dual carriageway access to the
region. There are many route planning services available on line, maps and guide
books are available at www.amazon.co.uk . We send out detailed instructions to
cover the final leg of your journey after receipt of your final payment. These
instructions detail the GPS position of each house.
Air travel has become very easy, see the list below. Bergerac Airport is no
more than one hour from any of the houses, Bordeaux 2hours and Toulouse 2½. Book
your car hire in advance from the usual companies we have found
www.autoreservation.com very useful.
